We operate this CSCS card guide and booking service. For the purposes of UK data protection law we are the data controller for the personal information you provide through this website.

• Your name, email address, phone number and date of birth
• Details of the card or test you are booking
• Qualification and employment information needed to support an application
• Payment details, which are processed securely by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers
• Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, and any messages you send us

We use your information to process and submit your booking to CSCS or CITB, take payment, confirm appointments, respond to enquiries, keep accounting records and meet our legal obligations.

We rely on performance of a contract (to deliver the booking you asked for), legal obligation (tax and accounting records), and legitimate interests (service improvement, fraud prevention and responding to enquiries). Where we send marketing, we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

We share your details with CSCS, CITB and their appointed test centres in order to complete your booking, and with service providers who support us — payment processing, hosting, email delivery. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information where required by law.

We keep booking and payment records for six years to meet UK accounting requirements. Enquiry correspondence is normally kept for up to two years. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

You have the right to access your data, ask us to correct or erase it, restrict or object to processing, request portability, and withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email info@cscscardandtest.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and restricted access. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure.
